Its fun, the characters are interesting, and the devs really paid attention to detail with some of the animations. The game has serious potential, and will be available on the Nintendo Switch and Steam when it is released!Full review: https://www.ruffireviews.com/post/178181673904/ruffireviews-tanzia-beta. Hands down, Tanzia has become on of my favorite single player RPGS so far. The art work is pretty and the textures are smooth and well done. The story was interesting and while it seemed fairly linear, there were plenty of side quests that really beefed out the time spent in each area, and doubling back was necessary but not burdensome. The enemies are are unique in design, difficulty, and mechanics. The map itself is fairly large, reasonably open, and each area was also unique. My main complaints are 1. there was no apparent option for full screen and 2. upon death, the controls reset to controller settings and any control customizing is also completely reset. I highly recommend Tanzia for all it contains. If the issues were corrected, then I would have absolutely nothing to complain about. Pros: Story progressionArtworkUnique enemies and mechanicsCons:No full screenControls reset upon death. Really fun game. It's a lot like what you'd expect from the screenshots and description; it has a clean, early wow mmorpg art style, a simple combat, loot, quest, and potion crafting system, and a story that grips you at what felt like halfway through the game. There are two comics in that game that you can read about the story and they are really well done. My only major complaint is that the ending felt a bit rushed. Part of that could be the map isn't fully used so it feels like there's a lot more than there is. Overall, it's a nice experience. If you like the art style and mmorpg combat and gathering, then I highly recommend this game.. What can I say this game has such fantastic charm. The artwork and gameplay outshine all the early access crap we have to weigh through these days to find a Gem.For those on the fence this game is truly a pleasure and well worth the investment. I have been fortunate to be able to speak to the devs who truly listen and take input from the playerbase. The story is charming and well written I truly wish these guys the best and cant wait til their next game.Classic game 9/10 stars.. Fun little game.Reminds me of the older mmo's.Still needs a bit of work but looking good so far!. Very fun game, great story and lots of fun magic build options.. Je l'attend depuis 1 and et demi et je ne suis pas decu il manque de quelques petites choses mais il est encore en early donc cest pas grave mais il est très jouable.. Controls are bad. This game is nicely built patterned after PS1-games like Spyro, Megaman, etc.But they had intuitive controls. Therefore, in this game, poor and hard to manage controls are unforgivable. Build #2788 This is a big one!: Good news everyone! We just moved one step closer to Tanzia's release candidate! : DSince we changed so much for this build, we recommend to all the Youtubers/Streamers who are in the middle of a Let's Play series to start over with a new savegame, trust us, it's worth it.We literally have a ton of improvements and new stuff on this update, let me walk you through some of the changes:New TutorialFinally! This is really a big deal for us, for the longest time we had a super boring tutorial and we hated it! Now we feel that the players will leave The Village really knowing how everything works, and it doesn't feel like a chore : )Improved QuestsMost of the early quests have changed, some flow better, some are easier to understand, some have been completely revamped. That's why we're recommending everyone to start a fresh game, so you can experience the game as it's meant to be.New (small) Town at The LagoonNow there's a new settlement at The Lagoon, with NPCs who teach you spells, sell potions and even give you one of the coolest new sidequests. Go check it out!SidequestsWe know people love sidequests, and we added more for all of you to enjoy. Search for lost birds, collect poop (don't ask), fix sandals, visit secret places and many more things that'll let you collect sweet sweet loot!Free floating speech balloonsTanzia's NPCs love to talk, and we put some of the color (non-crucial) text into speech balloons. Check out the guards next to the bridge during the fight there for a fun example of this ; )Known BugAt one point you need to get on a boat (exciting!) that boat has a small bug in which sometimes it won't let you get in to ride it (sad!).If that happens to you and you are at The Docks, just wait for it until it returns and it'll probably work fine. If you are at Bear Island you can buy one of the Magic Feathers from Tika and just teleport back to The Village in a jiffy. Also if you jump around the boat too much, you might fall from it, so please don't, unless you love seeing bugs, if that's the case, go nuts! Hahaha. We're fixing that for the next build, please be patient! That's just the big stuff, here's the full changelog for build #2788:3/20/2017 P4 #2788-major changes to dialog and quest flow of Intro and first several chapters.-add new Berserk potion to Alchemy.-add Frappy Bird quest.-add Too Many Spiders quest.-add Melee Practice quest.-add Arcanity Practice quest.-add Pooper Scooper quest.-add The Cobbler quests.-add Baako's Sandal's quest.-add Corrupt Akura quest.-add new Dorian fishing village to The Lagoon.-replace the temp chatbox with comic-book-style speech bubbles.-add new GUI widgets to show quest progress for quests that need it.-add tooltips to show reagent info in Alchemy Book.-fixed collision issues at Spider Hill.-fixed collision issues in Turtle Beach.-set up a little camp site for Kayn.
